Run, don't walk and snatch this cutie up before you lose out on the opportunity because Onyx Baby won't be available long! He's an approximately 7-month-old, 33 lb pittie mix with the sweetest personality and an absolutely adorable, forever puppy-dog face, soul-wrenching sweet eyes, and perfect floppy ears. He's a rescue, and while we can't guarantee breed or age, his charming demeanor is undeniable.
Ideal Home
Onyx Baby would thrive in a home with another dog, as he loves to follow his canine companions around like a little brother. He's also demonstrated great respect around cats, showing no signs of chasing or bothering them. A backyard for romping and playing would be wonderful, but he's equally happy being a couch potato for movie marathons. We haven't seen Onyx around children yet, but we are happy to test him. Based on what we know, we believe he would make a great family dog.
Ongoing Health
Onyx is a healthy young pup and is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test. He is also microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Onyx is a smart boy who is eager to please and already knows basic commands like "sit." He's gentle when taking treats, making any future training an enjoyable bonding experience. He is crate trained and mostly potty trained, though he may have occasional accidents if left alone for long hours.

Onyx is currently located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
