Chuck is the total package: smart, athletic, loyal, and just mischievous enough to keep you smiling every single day. He came to us needing a fresh start at a young age and thankfully his luck changed when he was welcomed into foster care. Now this happy, thriving pup is ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for.
At just 1 year old and weighing in at 41lbs, Chuck is everything you'd expect from a young Blue Heeler mix. He's curious, energetic, incredibly intelligent, and always ready for his next adventure. He bonds quickly with his people and is the kind of dog who will happily become your loyal sidekick through every adventure. Whether it's hiking, playing fetch, learning new tricks, exploring the neighborhood, or simply following his favorite people from room to room, he's happiest when he's included. After an active day, Chuck is more than happy to curl up for snuggles with his favorite humans.
Ideal Home
Chuck is looking for an active home that understands the needs of his breed and is excited to help him continue growing into the amazing companion he's meant to be. He'll thrive with consistency, positive reinforcement, and a family that enjoys working with such a smart breed. He walks well on leash and would love a family that enjoys staying active, whether it's hiking, running, obedience, agility, or simply daily walks and interactive games. He'll shine in a home that keeps both his mind and body engaged. Chuck is dog-friendly and enjoys having canine friends to wrestle and play with. He'd be happy to have another playful dog in his forever home, though it's not a requirement as long as he gets plenty of exercise, enrichment, and socialization. We do not know how he does with cats.

Chuck is a healthy 1-year-old Blue Heeler mix.
Training & Support
As a young adult, Chuck has moved beyond the tiny puppy stage but still has plenty of playful energy. He's eager to learn, highly food motivated, and incredibly bright, making training both fun and rewarding.
