Cowboy

My name is Cowboy and I am a 1-year-old Beagle mix who weighs about 20 lbs.

If you're looking for a dog with a heart of gold, you may have just found him. I can be a little timid when meeting new people, but once I know you're a friend, my sweet and playful personality comes shining through.

I absolutely love my people and enjoy being part of whatever is going on. Whether we're going for a walk, hanging out in the yard, or relaxing at home, I'm happiest when I'm spending time with the humans I love.

I'm also a big fan of snacks, which makes training both fun and rewarding! As a young dog, I still have plenty to learn, but being food motivated certainly helps.

I do well with other dogs and have enjoyed making friends here. Most of my experience has been with dogs around my own size, and I've done great with them. I haven't spent much time with larger dogs yet, so slow introductions would be a good idea.

I'm also becoming more confident on leash walks every day. New sights and sounds can still be a little overwhelming at times, but I'm learning that adventures can be fun when I have someone I trust by my side.

At just a year old, I have the perfect mix of youthful energy and affectionate companionship. I'm looking for a family that will continue helping me build confidence while enjoying all the love, laughs, and loyalty I have to offer.
