Meet Venus!
Venus is a delightful 5-year-old spayed female Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix, weighing around 45 lbs. She's a truly sweet and affectionate girl who loves to rest her head on your lap and gaze at you adoringly. Venus is calm and people-oriented, happy to relax on the couch with you or join you for outdoor adventures. She has a goofy, fun-loving charm, with little woofs of excitement and a love for zoomies, especially with a canine friend! Venus also adores playing in water, whether it's a kiddie pool or a stream on a trail, and she's a fantastic car rider, making her the perfect companion for any trip.
Ideal Home
Venus would thrive in a home where she is a true member of the family. A home that enjoys water play, road trips, and quiet evenings cuddling would be perfect. Due to her strong interest in chasing cats, a cat-free home is recommended, or one with very dog-savvy cats. While she hasn't met young children, she might do well in a family with older, respectful kids who understand boundaries.
Ongoing Health
Venus is a healthy girl who has been spayed. She is fully house-trained and crate-trained. For meals, she does best when fed separately using a slow feeder to prevent her from sneaking bites from other dogs' bowls.
Training & Support
Venus is learning quickly and is very food-motivated, though she can pull on the leash during walks. She is trustworthy when left loose in the house.

Transporation
Venus is currently being fostered in Woodinville, WA and is available for meet and greets with local adopters. Out-of-state adoption is possible once an approved adopter is lined up, and transports run every few weeks.
