Mr. Huckleberry

Hi there! I'm Mr. Huckleberry, a playful 4-month-old pup with the best guess of being a Lab/Shepherd mix. I'm currently weighing in at about 21.6 lbs and I'm ready to find my forever family. My foster siblings and I have had a blast with our mom, but now it's time for me to embark on my own adventure! I'm a bouncy, joyful puppy who loves to play with toys and get my zoomies out, followed by some good snuggles. I'm also a quick learner and eager to explore the world with you, make new doggy friends, and attend puppy obedience classes.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home where I can play and get plenty of exercise. Since I'm still under 6 months old, I'll need multiple potty breaks and exercise sessions throughout the day. If you work a standard 8-hour day, please be prepared to make arrangements to help me with my puppy needs. I also hope to make lots of doggie friends in my new neighborhood!

Ongoing Health

I've had my age-appropriate vaccines, but I'm not fully vaccinated yet. It's important for my new family to ensure I get my remaining puppy vaccines on schedule. Until I'm fully vaccinated, I'll be at a higher risk for illness than adult dogs. I am currently teething, but I've been great about only chewing my toys!

Training & Support

I'm working on my leash manners, but I'm very engaged on walks and love to sniff everything! I'm also learning to house train, so I'll need patience and consistency. Puppy obedience classes are a must for me to become a well-socialized and smart companion. I take cues well from my foster siblings, knowing when to play and when to give space to older dogs. I also sleep through the night in my crate and settle well during the day.
