Wolfie is a handsome and unique boy, about a year old and weighing 63 lbs. He's very people-friendly, gets along well with children and cats, and shows no reactivity towards other dogs. With a high energy level of 8 out of 10, Wolfie thrives on activity and joyful play. He absolutely adores kisses, hugs, and snuggles, soaking up all the affection he can get. Even though he's a big guy, Wolfie is gentle when taking treats, even high-value ones! He's a smart cookie, already knowing how to sit on command without any formal training and is very responsive to communication. His striking, coyote-like coloring makes him stand out from the crowd, and his independent nature often leads to hilarious moments. Wolfie loves life, especially treats, walks, adventures, and attention. While he's food motivated, he'd choose a walk or adventure over a treat any day, and he's not a fan of being cooped up, much like a typical husky. He is clean in his kennel and we believe he will adapt quickly to a structured home environment. Wolfie doesn't show any signs of storm or separation anxiety. On walks, he's initially excited and takes his time smelling everything, but once he's had his fill, he follows instructions well and doesn't pull much. He's also well-behaved in the car and has no issues. Wolfie has a very high food drive and has a mantra of "no crumb left behind." His prey drive is likely standard, as nothing unusual has been observed.
Ideal Home
Wolfie would do best in an active home, or with an individual or couple who enjoys activities like hiking and is eager to engage with him. He has never lived in a house before, so a patient introduction to indoor living would be beneficial.

Wolfie is already sitting on command and is responsive to communication. He is not thrilled about being confined and would benefit from a structured daily routine. His transition into a house will be a learning experience, and he may need a slow introduction.
