Stryker

Stryker is an adult Border Collie mix, around 7-8 years old, with a heart full of love and energy to share! He's a ball-loving, yard-running kind of guy who absolutely adores human affection. While he's learning to sit for pets, he can get a bit too excited for hugs and might jump up, so he's looking for a family who can help him polish that skill. He's perfectly content in his crate for extended periods and is a pro at staying accident-free and quiet. Stryker is looking for a forever family to call his own.

Ideal Home

Stryker would thrive in a home as the only dog, where he can have all the attention. He absolutely needs a securely fenced yard to safely enjoy his zoomies and playtime. He would not be a good candidate for dog parks or environments with many unfamiliar dogs.

Ongoing Health

Stryker is up-to-date on vaccinations (parvo/distemper and rabies) and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Stryker is crate trained and house-trained. He is learning to manage his excitement when greeting people and may jump up. Gentle redirection and consistent reinforcement of "sit" before petting will help him succeed.
