Meet Black Hammers Kennel. My name is Reid Stracke, I am located in Iowa and am the owner of Black Hammers Kennel. Here at Black Hammers Kennel we are a breeder of high quality German Shorthaired Pointers. I have been breeding GSP’s since 2019, but have owned German Shorthairs since 2005. We ensure our dogs are fully mature in age and physicality before breeding but we also make it a priority to make sure they are well proven in the field. I am breeding to have a high prey drive with great temperaments that also allow these puppies to not only be great hunters but also great family dogs.
