Mojo

Mojo is an 8½-year-old male German Shepherd with a remarkable comeback story. He and his mother were found abandoned and living in squalor, surviving on rats. Mojo arrived in 2024 in poor physical condition, suffering from severe genetic hip issues that left him almost crippled. After undergoing successful bilateral hip surgeries, Mojo is now living his best life, running with enthusiasm and making up for lost time. He is wonderful with people, affectionate, gentle, and a true love sponge once he bonds with you. Mojo is also good with other dogs, provided they are respectful and don't engage in rough play due to his hip surgeries. He would do best with polite canine companions. Children over 10 who understand how to interact gently with dogs are preferred.

Ideal Home

Mojo needs a securely fenced yard and a home where significant stair walking is not required, as fewer stairs would be ideal for him. He thrives in a home environment where he can settle, relax, and be part of a household. Mojo is not suited for homes with cats or any small animals.

Ongoing Health

Mojo has undergone bilateral hip surgeries. While he gets around well now, continued care and awareness of his hip health are important.

Training & Support

Mojo is well-mannered, housebroken, and easy to live with. He knows how to settle and relax.
