Meet Buddy! Buddy is a handsome 1.5-year-old, 90-pound mix of Husky, Great Pyrenees, Shepherd, and Golden Retriever. He was found as a stray, wandering through a neighborhood looking for help, and thankfully, he found a kind family who brought him in until he could be transported to a foster home in Pennsylvania. Buddy is currently being fostered in the Pottstown, PA area, eagerly awaiting his forever family.
Buddy is a super friendly guy who adores people. He enjoys spending time outdoors, whether by himself or with a canine companion. He gets along wonderfully with his foster sisters, one large and one small, but he's not a fan of male dogs. Due to his enthusiastic play style and his large size, we recommend a home without small children or small dogs.
He’s a smart cookie with a bit of a stubborn streak, typical of his breed mix. Buddy already knows "sit," "down," "paw," and "look." He'll need some continued training and patience to help him learn not to jump when greeting people, to walk nicely on a leash, and to resist the temptation of counter-surfing. You'll also notice his Pyrenees and Husky heritage in his tendency to guard the home and the occasional howl!
Buddy is crate trained and has had no accidents in the house. In the evenings, he's happy to relax with his humans and other dogs. He absolutely needs a fenced yard and an active family to keep up with his energy!
Buddy is up-to-date on all his shots and has been neutered.
Ideal Home
Buddy needs a home with a fenced-in yard and a resident female dog. He is not recommended for homes with small children or small dogs due to his size and energetic play style.

Buddy is up-to-date on all his vaccinations and has been neutered.
