Meet Cleo!
This sweet 2-year-old girl has overcome so much in her young life. Abandoned and then a mama to eight puppies, Cleo bravely battled heartworms and emerged a true angel. Her puppies have all found their forever homes, and now it's finally Cleo's turn to be chosen. She's a playful, energetic, and joyful companion who loves making new dog friends. Cleo is already house-trained and walks beautifully on a leash.
Ideal Home
Cleo would thrive in a home with a secure, fenced yard – she's a talented jumper, so a fence of at least 4 feet is a must! She needs a family who can offer her the love and stability she deserves. Because she can be a little unsure when left alone for long periods, a family that can help her build confidence and understand that being apart doesn't mean abandonment would be ideal. She also gets excited by bicycles and motorcycles, so a confident handler who can manage her on walks is important. Older children would be the best fit due to her size and playful nature.
Ongoing Health
Cleo has successfully been treated for heartworms. All our dogs are vet-checked, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Cleo is house-trained and walks nicely on a leash. She may need some continued support to build confidence when left alone and to manage her excitement around moving vehicles like bikes and motorcycles.

Transporation
Cleo is located in South Mississippi and can be transported to New Orleans or Pensacola. Local adoptions with pickup in Gulfport, MS are also welcome.
