He was surrendered to a local vet with the intention of euthanasia, but the kind staff saw his potential and are now fighting for his second chance at life. Shane was reported to have bitten a neighbor while reacting to the neighbor's dog on leash. However, at the vet's boarding facility, he has shown no such reactivity and has been a joy to be around, interacting well with people and even playing with another dog. He's a smart and energetic boy who's ready to find his forever home.
