He was rescued from the local shelter and is now in foster care, learning what comfort and love feel like. Samuel can be a bit shy with new people and places, preferring to take his time to feel safe. Once he's comfortable, his soft and loving personality shines through. He's a calm, observant companion who will quietly stay by your side and form a deep bond. Despite a leg injury and discomfort, Samuel has remained cooperative and kind. He is currently receiving veterinary care to heal properly. Samuel needs a patient home with a gentle routine where he can settle in at his own pace. In return, he'll offer endless loyalty, quiet companionship, and a special love.

Transporation

Samuel is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state to Eastern states weekly and to Western states bi-weekly or monthly. Ground transport using third-party vehicles is utilized, and adopters can track their dog's journey via the Life360 app or Facebook groups.
