Hi there! My name is Qynn, and I'm a sweet 7-year-old Dachshund girl who's looking for a special home. Life as a house pet is completely new to me, as I'm a breeder release and I'm a bit skittish. I'm working hard on learning new things like housetraining and getting used to wearing a harness. I'm still a little unsure about leash walking, so a fenced yard is a must for me to explore safely. I need a lot of patience and love as I learn to trust people. I can be a bit of a Houdini with leashes and sometimes need to be gently cornered to be caught inside. If you have a big heart and plenty of understanding for a shy girl like me, I'd love to meet you!

Ideal Home

A home with a securely fenced yard is essential for me, as I'm still mastering leash walking and can chew through a leash quickly. Because I'm quite skittish, I would do best in a calm environment where I can gradually learn to trust my humans.

I am spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

I am learning housetraining and how to wear a harness. I have not yet mastered walking on a leash. I am very skittish and need work on building trust with people.
