Krockett

Krockett is a handsome 1-year-old Labrador mix who weighs around 55 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. Krockett is a bundle of joy, always sporting a happy smile! He's incredibly loyal, well-mannered, and intelligent. He absolutely loves to play and is described as joyful, funny, and very active. Krockett would be thrilled to join an active family who enjoys spending time outdoors. He's already crate and leash trained, and he's a pro on car rides!

Ideal Home

Krockett would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard. He needs an active family who loves outdoor adventures. Adopters should have an open mind about the needs of rescued animals, understanding that they may require protection and education. Experience with dog behavior and training is highly desired, along with a good amount of patience for rescued pups.

Ongoing Health

Krockett has been neutered and is up-to-date on his vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. He has been dewormed, and his heartworm test came back negative. He also has a health certificate.

Training & Support

While Krockett is crate and leash trained, he is not yet house-trained. Adopters should be prepared to continue his house-training journey.

Transportation

Krockett is currently in Houston, Texas, and is available for transport to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest. A transport fee of $250.00 will be the adopter's responsibility and is payable prior to the pet's departure.
