About Rabbit

Meet Rabbit!

Rabbit is a gentle, sensitive soul who is looking for a patient family willing to let him settle in at his own pace. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, those who earn his trust quickly discover a sweet, loyal companion who loves being close to his people. Rabbit enjoys a simple routine. His favorite parts of the day are his walks, and he gets excited as soon as he sees his leash come out. Whether it's a neighborhood stroll, a longer hike, or even a run, Rabbit is happy to join the adventure. On walks, he's more interested in following his nose and exploring the world than reacting to other dogs. He's also proven to be a great travel buddy and rides well in the car. At home, Rabbit loves spending time outdoors. Give him a sunny spot and he'll happily sunbathe, nap, or entertain himself with toys for hours. He's calm when left alone and is not a big barker. While he's become more comfortable inside the house over time, he truly thrives when he has access to outdoor space. Rabbit forms strong bonds with the people he loves and will happily follow you from room to room just to be nearby. He's not much of a couch potato, but he enjoys being part of whatever you're doing. He can be nervous around strangers at first and may bark when he's unsure, but he's never shown aggression and warms up with patience and gentle introductions.

Ideal Home

Rabbit would do best with an active family that enjoys getting outside and including their dog in daily life. He thrives when he has access to outdoor space, so we'd love to see him in a home with a secure yard.
