Happy

Happy is an 8-month-old Pit/Mastiff mix who is spayed and ready to bring joy to her forever home! As a puppy, Happy experienced a broken jaw. After careful monitoring and guidance, it healed exceptionally well, and our vet has confirmed she experiences no pain and has a normal range of motion, so no surgery is recommended. She's a wonderfully joyful pup who doesn't quite realize her size, and is just happy to be wherever you are! Happy is friendly towards dogs of all sizes and is also good with cats. She would love a home with children. This sweet girl is gentle, playful, and very smart. She's learned to counter surf for snacks, but is doing well with crating. Her new family will need to continue working on this or use a baby gate to keep tempting items out of reach. Happy loves to snuggle and will happily share your bed, though she'll also settle for a comfy dog bed on the floor. She quickly mastered potty training and learned to sit for treats.

Ideal Home

Happy would love a home with children. She is friendly towards dogs of all sizes and good with cats.

Happy had a broken jaw as a puppy that has healed well and does not require surgery.

Training & Support

Happy has learned to counter surf and will require continued training or management (like a baby gate) to address this behavior. She is already house-trained and knows how to sit for treats.
