Meet Piper, the smiley, squishy-faced lovebug who seems incapable of not being adored! From the moment you meet her, she's all in, leaning her whole body into you for hugs and nudging for more affection. Her adorable underbite makes her look perpetually thrilled to be alive, and she assumes you're already best friends. Piper is estimated to be a 2-year-old Cane Corso/Boxer mix, and despite her strong "Corso face," she's on the smaller side, packed with squishy perfection.
Ideal Home
Piper would love a yard for epic zoomie sessions, but apartment living is also an option if her humans are active and committed to daily walks, outings, and adventures. She absolutely cannot live with cats, as she finds them too interesting. While Piper has the potential to be a wonderful family dog due to her gentle and sweet nature, she can give enthusiastic "hugs" when excited. A kid test will be required to ensure success for everyone.
Ongoing Health
Piper is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She will receive a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has tested negative for heartworm. She will be spayed prior to adoption.
Training & Support
Piper is smart and eager to please, making her very trainable. While she's currently more interested in everything happening around her than perfect leash skills, with consistent guidance, she'll surely master it. Her enthusiastic "hugs" when excited will require some management and redirection in a home with children.

Transporation
Piper is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
