Joey

Meet Joey! This 4-year-old, male Doodle is a low-key and incredibly well-behaved companion who is ready to find a quiet sanctuary to call his own. He's making amazing progress in his foster home and is ready for his next chapter! Joey is fully crate trained, has excellent recall, and is great on his daily walks. He thrives on a predictable routine and is a wonderful, non-destructive presence, content to just lay at your feet. He's also cat-friendly and doesn't bother the resident cats.

Ideal Home

Joey is a sensitive soul who is highly attached and relaxed with his foster mom. However, he is still very guarded and nervous around men and fast movements. He is looking for a quiet, calm, and predictable home environment, free from loud or hyper households. A home without young children is essential. He needs a patient adopter, ideally female, or a home prepared to let him bond at his own slow pace, understanding that building trust takes time. Once Joey feels safe, his happy-go-lucky, sweet personality truly shines, and he is a loyal companion waiting for the right person to show him the world isn't so scary.

Training & Support

Joey is already house-trained with excellent house manners (10/10!). He is fully crate trained and has excellent recall. He does well on his daily walks and thrives on a predictable routine.
