Meet Nina, a delightful girl who is estimated to be around 2 years old. Nina is so charming and squishy, with adorable rolls and floppy ears, that she's been affectionately nicknamed "Miss Buttered Roll." She has soulful eyes and a coat that's a beautiful caramel color with white markings. Nina's unique charm is undeniable; she's the kind of dog that makes everyone stop and admire her. We're not entirely sure of her breed mix, but we think she might have some hound, boxer, or beagle in her. Whatever her origins, she's absolutely perfect!
Ideal Home
Nina is a "respectful Velcro dog" who loves to be near her people. She's happy to follow you around and settle nearby while you go about your day. She enjoys the company of other dogs and can be a playful, social member of a multi-dog household. She does best with thoughtful introductions to other dogs and may prefer a calmer canine companion or no other dogs. Because Nina can get excited and pull on leash when she sees other dogs, we recommend a home environment rather than apartment living where she might encounter unfamiliar dogs frequently in close quarters. Nina showed curiosity but politeness towards cats and we are happy to conduct further testing for homes with feline friends. While she hasn't been formally tested with children, her affectionate and gentle nature suggests she could be a wonderful family dog, and we are happy to complete kid testing for interested adopters.

Training & Support
Nina is a polite companion, but she can get excited and bark or pull on leash when she sees other dogs and wants to investigate. Once proper introductions are made, she relaxes. We will provide extensive behavioral information from our trainers to ensure the perfect match for your family.

Transportation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will be able to track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
