Micaela

Micaela is a beautiful 2-year-old Husky who has overcome so much. She arrived at the shelter in significant pain due to a fractured jaw and bleeding gums. Her journey to healing has been a challenging one, but she is incredibly resilient. Despite her past hardships, Micaela is learning to trust and shows gratitude for gentle touch and kind care. Her sweet spirit is shining through as she begins her recovery.

Ongoing Health

Micaela is heartworm positive and is undergoing slow-kill treatment. She has also had a full dental cleaning and removal of damaged teeth due to old jaw fractures that caused deep tissue infection. She will be able to live a completely normal, pain-free life.

Training & Support

Micaela is slowly learning that she is safe and is beginning to trust again. She will need continued patience and gentle guidance as she settles into her forever home.
