Meet Miles, a precious scruffy puppy who is about 4 months old and weighs around 8 pounds. We believe he might be a Cairn Terrier mix, but like many rescue pups, his exact breed is a delightful mystery! What's not a mystery is how incredibly deserving he is of a loving home. Miles is currently enjoying his puppy days filled with play, naps, tasty meals, and gentle socialization.
Despite his adorable wiry coat, Miles has an incredibly lovable and surprisingly chill personality for a puppy. His world currently revolves around eating, sleeping, learning, and bonding with people. Each day is a new adventure, and with your guidance, he's building a strong foundation to become a confident and well-adjusted adult dog. Ideal Home
Miles will thrive in a home that can provide him with the time, patience, and consistency essential for puppy development. He'll benefit from adopters who understand that puppies require ongoing training, play, and engagement to meet their mental and physical stimulation needs throughout adulthood.
Ongoing Health
Miles is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Miles will benefit from crate training and structure to help him feel secure. Continued efforts in potty training, leash walking, and basic manners will also be important for his success.

Miles is located in the Houston area. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
