Kiwi is a lively Chihuahua mix who was rescued pregnant from the streets and has been living at our ranch since late March 2026. She's a real character, greeting everyone with excitement and a happy dance on her hind legs! Kiwi has a lot of energy and loves to explore, so a securely fenced yard is a must to keep her safe, as she has a knack for finding ways to explore beyond our enclosures. She's a bit of an independent spirit, often enjoying sunbathing in the yard, but she also loves to snuggle close for naps and give plenty of kisses. Kiwi is social with other dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and as an adult, she has a nicely balanced energy herself. She'd be a fantastic companion for running errands or relaxing at home, as she's friendly, gentle, and sweet. She enjoys car rides, walks well on a leash, and is house-trained. We estimate she's between 2 and 3 years old, and she currently weighs 8 pounds as of May 2026.
Ideal Home
A securely fenced yard is essential to keep Kiwi safe, as she has a tendency to escape enclosures.
Ongoing Health
Kiwi is sterilized, fully vaccinated, up to date on parasite and flea/tick prevention, tested for heartworm and Lyme disease, has had a complete blood panel, and is microchipped. You will receive her health records upon adoption, along with a small bag of kibble.
Training & Support
Kiwi is house-trained and walks well on a leash.

Transporation
Kiwi is currently at The Thriving Dog ranch in Jalisco, Mexico. Transportation to the United States is included in the adoption fee once a match is approved. We coordinate all necessary documents, transportation, and initial meet-and-greets, flying out of Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) or Leon Bajio International Airport (BJX). We are happy to help arrange visits to our dogs in Guadalajara, Mexico, before adoption.
