Meet Idgie, a beautiful 3-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix weighing about 62 pounds. With her striking looks and soulful eyes, Idgie has a quiet presence that draws you in. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and fully up to date on all her care, ready to head straight into her forever home. Idgie can be a bit of an escape artist, so a yard with at least 6-foot fencing is recommended. She’s smart, a little serious at first, and incredibly loving once she feels secure. Idgie will make an amazing forever friend. She’s loyal, affectionate, and ready to form a deep bond with her new family.

Training & Support

Idgie does wonderfully with other dogs her size and is also cat friendly. She has been around children of various ages and is calm and gentle. She is fully housebroken and crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night. Idgie has shown some resource guarding around her meals, so she is fed separately from other pets. With simple management at mealtime, she continues to thrive.
