Bender - In Foster!

Bender is a 1-year-old adventure buddy with a heart of gold! This handsome young pup has been thriving in foster care, where he's shown himself to be affectionate, eager to learn, and always ready for his next outing.

Bender loves getting out and about, whether it's going for a run, exploring the great outdoors, or even camping. He walks well on a leash and has great leash manners, though he may get a little excited when he spots another dog and wants to go say hello. He's also learning his basic commands and already knows "sit" and "wait" for dinner. His recall is coming along nicely, too!

At home, Bender is a certified cuddle bug who loves spending time with his people. He's generally well-mannered indoors and lets you know when he needs to go outside, though he's had a few morning potty accidents when he couldn't get out quickly enough. A home with a dog door would be a great fit for him.

Like many young dogs, Bender can get bored if left to entertain himself all day and enjoys having appropriate chew toys and activities to keep his mind busy. With a little continued guidance and structure, he's sure to grow into an amazing lifelong companion.
