Meet Tundra! This beautiful 10-year-old Husky has had quite a journey and is now ready to find the loving forever home she deserves. Tundra originally came to Fremont County Humane needing quite a bit of care. Her coat required a full shave, and she also needed to lose over 20 pounds before she could safely undergo a much-needed dental procedure. With excellent care, Tundra reached her goal weight and has since had her dental completed. She now weighs around 75 pounds, is back to enjoying her regular dry food, and is feeling fantastic! Tundra is an easygoing, mature girl who is a pleasure to handle. She has a calm, gentle personality but still enjoys having fun. She's been introduced to several dogs of varying ages and energy levels and has done well with all of them. As a mature dog, she'll appropriately correct another dog if they're being rude and then simply walk away. Her interactions have been respectful and balanced. Everyone who has met Tundra has fallen in love with her. She's a very special dog who has overcome so much and is finally ready for a fresh start. If you're looking for a loyal, calm, and loving companion, Tundra is ready to write her next chapter with you.
