Wilson

Wilson is a senior male Alaskan Malamute mix who is ready to find his forever home! He's a bit of a lone wolf, much like the character from "Cast Away," and would prefer to be the only canine companion in his new family. Wilson can be protective of his food, so he'll need a patient owner who can help him understand that he'll always have enough to eat. He's also a little unsure about being touched unexpectedly and may need some gentle encouragement when it comes to his feet.

Despite his past, Wilson is doing well with his friends at TCRAS. He absolutely loves going for walks, enjoys playing with toys (all toys are his!), and is learning a lot during his stay. He's a little older, but he still has a heart full of love to give to the right person.

Ideal Home

Wilson would thrive in a home where he can be the sole furry friend. He needs a patient owner who can help him with his food guarding and sensitivity to touch, especially around his feet.
