Uma

Uma is a beautiful 9-10 week old Great Pyrenees mix with a sweet and good-natured disposition. She and her littermates were brought into rescue at about 6-7 weeks old and are now vetted and ready to find their forever homes. Uma is expected to be ready to go to her new home the weekend of July 10th. Because her exact mix is unknown, she may not be suitable for livestock guardian homes.

Ideal Home

A loving home that can provide a safe and nurturing environment for a growing puppy. As Uma's mix is unknown, she might not be the best fit for a livestock guardian home.

Ongoing Health

Uma is vetted and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is spayed and microchipped.

Training & Support

Uma is not yet house-trained. She will need continued training and socialization to help her grow into a well-adjusted adult dog.

Transporation

Uma is currently located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, or transported to the New England area. If adopted in New England, adopters will need to pick up Uma (or arrange for a trusted friend/family member to pick her up) on a Saturday in PA, NY, or CT. Residents of other states may also adopt, provided they can meet our transporter along their route.
