Romina

Romina is a sweet, affectionate, playful, and endearingly clumsy girl who thinks she's a 50-pound lap dog. She'll be your constant shadow, always wanting to be near you. She came to us very nervous, but she's blossomed wonderfully, showing her strong and resilient spirit. Romina is incredibly grateful to be in a home and has so much love to give to her forever family.

Ideal Home

Romina needs a home where new people are introduced slowly. She can be nervous initially when visitors arrive but calms down quickly. It's recommended to keep her on a lead when guests first come over, allowing her to approach them at her own pace without immediate interaction. With patience, she warms up and enjoys new friends. She'd do well as an only dog, or with another dog who is more submissive and doesn't mind sharing toys. A playful but gentle canine sibling would be ideal, as Romina doesn't do well with easily annoyed or overly dominant dogs.

Training & Support

Romina is housebroken and sleeps through the night. She walks well on a harness, but can be strong when excited by squirrels. She is working on not being jumpy and mouthy when excited, and has already shown great improvement.
