Hi there! My name is Arty, and I'm an 11-month-old, 45-lb female Pit Mix with the sweetest soul. I'm the perfect blend of affectionate and independent – I love cozy snuggles just as much as having my own quiet time to relax.
Some of my favorite things include belly rubs, walks, tug-of-war, chew toys, squeaky toys, and romping around with other dogs. I haven't met any cats in my foster home yet, but I can absolutely be cat-tested if needed. I got to meet some kids at an adoption event recently, and I did wonderfully with them! I also behaved myself beautifully and walked well on leash, even though it was busy!
I do have one small quirk: I prefer a little personal space when I'm laying down and don't love faces being right up in mine – boundaries are important, after all!

Transporation
I am currently located in Texas. I can be adopted locally or out of state. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure I arrive to my adopter safely, and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see me and ensure it's a fit.
