Chewy Booie is a very active and playful girl who was born into our care after her momma, Maven, was picked up as a stray. She's a puppy and is exhibiting all the charming, energetic behaviors that come with it! She's been in a foster home with children 4 years and up, other adult dogs, and her momma, which has provided her with ample learning opportunities to become a well-rounded adult dog.
Ideal Home
Chewy Booie's ideal home could include human children, other pets of any type, and any kind of animals. She would thrive in an environment where she can be socialized and taken on family outings, learning all the appropriate skills to become her best self.
Ongoing Health
Chewy Booie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed. She appears to be in good health and is expected to be around 45 lbs when fully grown. She has not yet been spayed, as per our organization's policy on pediatric spaying and neutering. You will be required by the adoption contract to have her sterilized by the time she is 6 months old. We will refund $100 upon receiving proof of sterilization at your expense.
Training & Support
Puppies have not experienced the world yet, and it's up to you to teach them what is safe and what to be aware of, like cars or reactive dogs. Chewy Booie is still working on potty training and would benefit greatly from a local puppy training class, with continued training even after the class concludes. She is eager to learn how to be a good family dog, and taking her to "school" will help her learn all the skills she needs to be her best self. This will also benefit you as her pet parent(s) by learning to communicate effectively with her and help her build confidence. It's important to remember that Chewy Booie is a puppy, and puppies are hard work! She has sharp nails and needle teeth and loves to pounce on shoes and tug on anything that moves. As far as she's concerned, everything is for play. She will trip you, piddle on the rug, and chew your stuff. Please only apply if you have the time, energy, and desire to raise her right!
