Meet Bear, a loyal and incredibly handsome Wheaten Terrier mix who is a true "unicorn" boy still waiting for his perfect match. Bear has spent exactly 1,007 days in rescue, and during that time, he has grown, learned, and bonded deeply with his people. Now, he desperately needs the right home to make every single day of that wait worth it. If you are looking for a fiercely loyal shadow who just wants to be near you, Bear is your guy.

Ideal Home

Bear needs a home with a secure, physically fenced yard, as he is not suited for a leash-walk-only lifestyle. He is looking for a strictly cat-free home and would do best with an adopter who works from home or is around most of the time, as he deals with separation anxiety.

Ongoing Health

All of our animals receive comprehensive veterinary care prior to adoption, including a full exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, spay or neuter, heartworm testing, and any necessary medical treatment.

Training & Support

Bear deals with separation anxiety and would benefit from an adopter who can provide a consistent presence.

Bear is located in Pennsylvania and transport options are available within our operating region, including the tri-state area and New England. We do not adopt animals to Canada.
