Stormy Belle is believed to be a Shepherd mix, approximately 5 years old and weighing 52lbs. As with many rescues, her exact breed and age are a delightful mystery.
Ideal Home
Stormy Belle would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard, ideally in a suburban setting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. She can be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring new places, preferring to take things cautiously. Her confidence blossoms with a tennis ball or a tasty treat, and she especially feels comfortable around smaller dogs, though she's also gentle with larger breeds. While she's generally good with children of all ages, she would prefer the company of older children (14+) who can better understand and respect her need for calm and personal space.
Ongoing Health
Stormy Belle is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with boosters, Bordetella, rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Stormy Belle is an intelligent and eager-to-please girl who loves to learn. She already knows "sit" and "down," understands the "touch" command, and has a good recall. She walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and potty trained. She has excellent house manners and is quiet, making her a wonderful companion for those who work from home. While she loves attention, she isn't overly demanding.

Stormy Belle is located in Texas and is available for transport nationwide via our rescue-run, USDA-certified transport system. This system ensures safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track her journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Please note there is an additional $87 surcharge for transportation due to rising costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
