Shadow

Hi, I'm Shadow! I came to Mississauga Animal Services as an owner surrender through no fault of my own, and now I'm ready to find my new forever home! I'm a sweet American Bully mix, about 3 years old, and I weigh around 85 lbs. I'm basically the biggest lap dog you'll ever meet! I love going on adventures, playing in the grass, and getting muddy. I've done well meeting other dogs on leash here at the shelter, although if another dog gives me attitude, I might give it right back. Oh, and I absolutely love car rides! Because I don't always realize how big and strong I am, I'd probably do best in a home with older teens rather than small children. I haven't been tested with cats yet. If you're looking for a loyal, goofy, adventure-loving best friend who also thinks he's a lap dog, I might be the perfect match for you!

Ongoing Health

I'm neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on my vaccinations (rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella).

Training & Support

I've had a few training sessions while at the shelter, and I've been doing great! I can still be a little nervous when meeting new men, but a few tasty treats help me warm up quickly. I get pretty excited at the start of my walks and might pull on the leash at first, but I settle down nicely once we get going.
