Raven

This stunner is Raven!

Raven is an approximately 4-year-old female Border Collie/Labrador mix weighing around 50 lbs. She's a very playful, high-energy dog who will need an active individual or family to give her plenty of exercise, both physically and mentally. She's super smart and catches on to things quickly! She has even been through puppy training class and we recommend continuing her training.

Raven is unsure of people in public situations and will bark at strangers. Once she is in a home and comfortable, her affectionate and playful side comes out. She plays well with other dogs and has been excellent with children in a previous foster home. She will make someone a very loyal and fun dog! She is a great watchdog and protective of her people.

Ideal Home

Raven would thrive in an active home with an individual or family who can provide ample physical and mental exercise. She has done well with children and enjoys playing with other dogs. Due to her high energy, she would likely not do well in a home with cats. A home with a stockade fence is required.

Ongoing Health

Raven is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Raven is crate, house, and leash trained. While she has had puppy training, continuing her training is recommended. She can be unsure of strangers in public and may bark, but she blossoms into her affectionate and playful self once comfortable in her home.
