RITA

Rita is a shy but quick-to-warm-up female adult dog, weighing around 36 lbs. She has an even temperament, is eager to please, and has a low energy level. Rita's favorite things include cuddling, playing with her pirate duck and a bone during her zoomies, and sleeping soundly at the foot of the bed without disturbance. She seems to have been a stray at some point, but has learned a lot and is very patient. Rita absolutely adores children, even if they pull on her, making her a potentially perfect family dog. Her medium size makes her easy to take to various places.

Ideal Home

Rita would thrive in a home where she can receive gentle affection and feel secure. She is used to having a doggie door and may need some adjustment to a home without one. She is not crate trained, as it stresses her out.
