Copper

Copper is a sweet and loving Treeing Walker Coonhound who had a rough start. He was found abandoned and starving, having been shot multiple times with a pellet gun. Thankfully, Copper received the medical attention he needed, including treatment for his injuries, neutering, and vaccinations. He's now fully recovered and has even completed treatment for heartworms, getting a clean bill of health from the vet. He's so happy to be able to play and run again! Copper is house-trained, friendly, and does well with most dogs.

Ideal Home

Copper has a lot of energy and a fantastic nose, so he would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard where he can safely explore and sniff to his heart's content. Because he can get excited and might accidentally knock over smaller children, he would be best suited for a family with children over 10 years old. He will chase cats, so a home without feline friends would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Copper has fully recovered from his past injuries and heartworm treatment. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

Copper is already house-trained and friendly. His energy levels mean he needs an active home.
