Say hi to Sambuca, or as we affectionately call her, 'Sami Girl'! This sweet 7-year-old Yorkie, weighing about 7 lbs, is a former commercial breeder mama who is now ready for a life of love and pampering. Sami has a shining personality and is a true lap-loving girl. Her typical day starts with waking up in bed with her foster siblings, followed by a quick patrol of the backyard. She adores being outside and dreams of a fenced yard where she can continue her important work of bird-watching and keeping them from their seed!
Back inside, she enjoys intervals of playful chasing with the resident cat, just for fun. After breakfast, which boosts her energy for the next adventure, she heads back outside to lounge on patio chairs, soaking up the essential Vitamin D for maintaining her beauty. Sami acknowledges her foster siblings, but only if they are her size; she has no interest in dogs that don't fit on her lap. She then demands cuddles and petting, making sure you know she's there! Another romp in the yard might involve some sassy interactions with the mailman. Regular grooming sessions are necessary to keep this girl looking fly!
Ideal Home
Sami would love a home with a fenced yard where she can enjoy her outdoor time. She also enjoys the company of respectful children who will shower her with attention.
Ongoing Health
Sami is up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She had a dental procedure upon rescue, and unfortunately, all her teeth were removed due to decay. A soft food diet is a must for Sami, which is perfectly fine as she's a meat lover, with chicken being her favorite!
Training & Support
Sami is house-trained, but some regression may occur in a new environment. She is a queen who deserves all the love and attention you have to share!
