Meet Astro!

Astro is a 7-pound Chihuahua mix who will be 8 years young this June. He came to us as an owner surrender when his family moved and could no longer keep him. Astro's heart orbits entirely around his people; he's a tiny dog with a huge capacity for love! He enjoys playing with his stuffies, but his favorite place will always be right next to you—whether that’s curled up in your lap or tucked into a pile of soft blankets. Cozy is his lifestyle. Astro is the kind of dog who watches you, follows you from room to room, and looks at you like you are his whole world. If you’ve ever wanted a little shadow with eyes full of love—Astro is your guy.

Ideal Home

Astro would prefer a home with a fenced yard but also does well walking on a leash. Because of his small size, Astro will need a home without dogs over 15 pounds to keep him safe and comfortable.

Ongoing Health

Astro is housetrained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped. He also just had a dental procedure done.

Training & Support

Astro is not your typical Chihuahua when it comes to meeting new people; he’s friendly, welcoming, and with the offer of a treat, more than happy to make a new friend.
