Boomer

Hi there! My name is Boomer, and I'm a friendly, energetic pup with a heart as big as my spirit. I'm a Carolina Dog mix, about 1 year and 6 months old, and I'm ready to bring tons of love and excitement into my new home! While I'm not the biggest fan of toys, tasty treats and yummy food are my ultimate motivators. This makes training super fun, especially when I know a reward is coming my way. Sometimes I can get a little overstimulated, but with a patient and understanding human, I'm sure to focus and learn all the good things.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home where I can share my boundless energy and get all the love I deserve! I do show signs of separation anxiety, so a home where I won't be left alone for extended periods would be ideal. Because I have a prey drive, I would do best in a home without any feline friends.

Ongoing Health

I'm neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

My leash manners are still a work in progress, as I can get quite excited and jumpy. I'd really benefit from an experienced handler or someone committed to teaching me how to walk nicely. With consistent training and plenty of tasty rewards, I'm confident I can master this! People are my absolute favorite, and I'm friendly and excitable when it comes to receiving affection. I can socialize well with other dogs, but remember that slow introductions are key to making new furry friends.
