Mondo

Mondo is a handsome, active Australian Shepherd mix with a stunning charcoal grey coat and white markings on his belly and spotted legs. At 5-6 years old and around 50-55 lbs, he has plenty of energy and enthusiasm for life! Mondo is up-to-date on all his shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He's a happy boy who is motivated by treats and loves a good game of chase in the yard. He also enjoys car rides and is happy to relax on the couch for cuddles and movie time after a good workout.

Ideal Home

Mondo needs an active home that can provide him with plenty of exercise, such as walks, hikes, or camping. He is not suited for an apartment or as "yard art." He would thrive with a family that includes him in their daily activities. He can be an only dog or live with medium to large, male or female canine companions. He can also live with school-aged children. He is not a fan of tie-outs or electric fences.

Mondo is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Mondo is potty trained and crate trained. He knows basic commands but is not yet trained for off-leash reliability. He is a smart and agile dog who is eager to learn. In a previous environment, he had issues with fence climbing, but his current foster has not experienced any issues due to him receiving regular exercise and playtime.

Mondo is currently in a foster home in Ft. Worth, TX. Transport to your area is available through our rescue after the adoption is finalized.
