Gus

Meet Gus Gus is a 14-pound senior Shih Tzu mix who is embracing retirement life. He's a quiet, gentle little gentleman who enjoys the simple things: a cozy bed, a leisurely stroll, and plenty of time to stop and smell the roses (and every other scent along the way!).

Friendly with every person he meets. Not interested in other dogs and has mostly ignored the resident cat. Sleeps through the night in his crate and often has to be woken up in the morning. Walks nicely on leash and loves a good sniffari.

Gus isn't fully housebroken but does well with regular potty breaks and a consistent routine. He's also not much of an eater right now and is waiting for a much-needed dental. We're hopeful he'll be feeling much better-and eating better-once his mouth is taken care of.

The best way to describe Gus? Easy. He doesn't bark, doesn't demand much, and is content just being near his people. If you're looking for a calm companion to share quiet days and cozy evenings, Gus may be your perfect match.
