Enzo is a brave Shih Tzu who has overcome a difficult past. Rescued from a neglectful breeding situation, he's now on a journey to learn trust and experience love. Enzo is naturally fearful and requires a gentle, patient approach. He thrives in a calm, quiet environment where he can feel secure and open up at his own pace. Everything is new to Enzo, from household routines to affection, as he's never known life as a cherished pet. He finds comfort and confidence around other dogs. While he's currently learning to build confidence with leashes, our trainers are dedicated to helping him. Enzo is still learning to enjoy being handled, but with consistent patience and respect for his boundaries, he's making wonderful progress. He's seeking an experienced and compassionate adopter who understands that healing takes time and trust is earned. With the right home, Enzo has the potential to truly blossom and enjoy the wonderful life he deserves.

Training & Support

Enzo is fearful and needs a very gentle, patient approach. He is currently scared of the leash, but our trainers are working with him on building confidence and structure. At this time, he does not enjoy being handled yet, but with consistency, patience, and respect for his boundaries, he continues to make progress. He has five free training sessions included in his adoption.
