Luna

Luna recently came to us from a shelter partner in IL. She and several other dogs were living together, and unfortunately, their owner was no longer able to care for them. Luna is estimated to be 2-3 years old. She's a bit timid at first, but once she gets to know you, she's your new best friend! We expect Luna to be fine with other dogs, but we haven't cat tested her yet. Due to her being a bit unsure of new people, it may be best if children in the home were older and dog-savvy – a busy toddler might be a bit overwhelming for her.

Ideal Home

A home with older, dog-savvy children would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Luna is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on prevention. She is microchipped and will be spayed prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Luna is a bit timid with new people, so patience and gentle introductions will help her blossom.

• Dog and puppy adoption fees for those 12 months old or younger: $450
• Adult dog adoption fees for those over 12 months old: $400
• Senior dog adoption fees for those over 7 years old: $400 (with the option to adopt future seniors at no charge) or $250 for a reduced fee.

Luna is located in IL and can be transported to other locations.
