Meet Castiel Goose! He's a joyful, year-old pup with a unique look and a spunky personality. We believe he's a mix of Wire Hair Terrier and Chihuahua, but with rescue, it's always a fun surprise! Castiel comes to us from a part of the country where sadly, many puppies are euthanized. By choosing Castiel, you're not only saving his life but also making space for us to help another animal in need. He’s a moderate to low shedder and loves to play with toys, often initiating games with his humans. He's also been introduced to other dogs and is not too pushy, enjoying gentle play and then seeking out affection. Castiel is a people-pleaser who trusts easily and is outgoing, even when meeting new friends, including kids. He even met a cat and was completely uninterested! While he's a good boy, he's still a puppy and will need continued training and socialization. He is hearing impaired but that doesn't slow him down one bit – he's still up for couch snuggles and adventures! Castiel is a special, one-of-a-kind dog with beautiful blue eyes, ready to be your loyal best friend and shower you with kisses.

Castiel is looking for a family that can commit to continued training, socialization, and all the joys and dedication that puppyhood requires. He thrives on interaction and loves to play!

Castiel is hearing impaired but is otherwise healthy and capable of enjoying a full, active life.
Training & Support
Castiel will need continued potty and crate training, as well as daily exercise. He is a people-pleaser and will learn quickly with consistent guidance.

Castiel is currently fostered in Portland, OR. He is available for adoption in NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and the East Coast. Transport is available via a USDA-licensed semi-truck for our PNW adopters or a private, air-conditioned van for our East Coast route.
