Diva is a 1-year-old, spayed Lab mix, weighing approximately 35 pounds. She's a playful, affectionate, and outgoing girl with a wagging tail and plenty of love to give! Diva enjoys running, playing, and chasing with other dogs who can match her energetic spirit. She's equally happy exploring on her own or romping with a canine companion. Diva walks politely on leash and is a joy to have on daily outings. While she mostly ignores cats, she has been known to sneak a bite of their food. She is affectionate and gentle, and while she hasn't lived with children, her foster believes she would do well with kids who are old enough to manage her enthusiasm and protect their snacks! Diva is crate trained and does well for short periods. She's very food motivated, making her eager to learn, but she should be fed separately to prevent her from trying to sneak extra treats from other dogs. She shares her toys well. Diva's personality is outgoing, playful, smart, and affectionate. She loves toys, cuddles, and meeting new people with a friendly, tail-wagging enthusiasm. Diva is still getting comfortable with car rides, so longer adventures will require patience and time. When corrected, she becomes vocal, howling as if to argue her point – it's charming and funny, like she's holding a conversation!
Ideal Home
Diva would thrive in a home with another dog who shares her zest for playtime. She would do best with regular walks, plenty of playtime, and the chance to sleep close to her people. Someone should be home most of the time to give her the structure, love, and activity she craves.
Ongoing Health
Diva is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
