Panda the perfect doggy pal

Panda is a shy but sweet guy who loves to hang out with his favorite chew bone. He's estimated to be two years old and weighs about 50 pounds. Panda is a Pittie mix with a mellow personality, named for his black and white coat. He enjoys toys, chew bones, and his daily walks. Panda thrives in a structured environment and loves his routine. He's also a professional napper, enjoying time on the couch or snuggling with his humans at night. He's kennel and house-trained.

Ideal Home

Panda would do best in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home. He needs to be in a home with at least one other dog, as he draws confidence from canine companionship. He is not recommended for a home with cats. He previously did well in a home with children aged 5 and up, provided they are respectful and sweet with him.

Ongoing Health

Panda is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworms.

Training & Support

Panda is leash-trained and enjoys tandem walks. He is also a seasoned and patient car traveler. He may need a patient adopter to allow him a full decompression period, with support from our behavior team and his foster mom.

Transporation

Panda is currently in Texas but can be transported across the US on our USDA licensed vehicles. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT.
