About Sandy Duffy

Sandy is the canine equivalent of a deep, calming breath after a long day. She's gentle, thoughtful, and possesses a peaceful presence that is incredibly grounding. Sandy appreciates a quieter, calmer lifestyle and settles in beautifully when given the chance to take things at her own pace. She's not busy or demanding; she simply is, and her presence makes a home feel softer.

Her approach to love is slow and steady. Sandy takes her time getting to know new people and prefers not to be rushed into affection. She's not reactive or pushy, she simply likes a little space in the beginning while she observes and understands her surroundings. Once she feels safe and trusts you, her connection is deeply loyal and genuinely heartwarming. She may not be on your lap on day one, but she'll become your shadow in the most comforting, easy way.

Ideal Home

Sandy would do best in a home that values a slower pace, where she can continue to grow in confidence without pressure. She would thrive with someone who understands that love doesn't always arrive loudly, but can show up quietly, require care, and stay.

Ongoing Health

Sandy is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also had a heartworm test and any necessary treatment. She is microchipped with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Sandy is comfortable with other dogs, maintaining a polite and respectful demeanor. She doesn't actively seek play but coexists nicely. She is also good with cats, showing a respectfully avoidant energy that felines seem to sense. Walks are a great way for Sandy to build a relationship and feel secure.
