Nala is an 8-year-old, spayed female Shepherd/Retriever mix who weighs 52 pounds. She was found abandoned in Texas, but thankfully, a kind networker spotted her and brought her into a foster home. Nala is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet, with a tail that never stops wagging! She's a calm and easygoing girl with a peaceful presence that makes her a joy to have around. Nala has a wonderful balance of relaxed and fun, enjoying playful moments while also being content to lounge nearby.
Ideal Home
Nala would do best in a home that appreciates her calm, loving nature. She's a great candidate for a family home with kids of various ages, especially with respectful interactions. She also interacts beautifully with other dogs, particularly larger breeds (50-60 lbs), and has a gentle, submissive play style. While she would enjoy having a canine companion, she would also thrive as a solo dog soaking up all the love.

Training & Support
Nala is fully house-trained and crate-trained, resting comfortably in her crate for several hours during the day and overnight. She walks nicely on leash with a calm pace, though she may occasionally need a little encouragement to keep going. Nala has good manners overall, though she may prefer some space while eating, especially around unfamiliar dogs. She has shown no issues with people around her food and hasn't displayed toy-guarding behaviors.
