Meet Dallas! This adorable little guy is full of personality and ready to fill your life with joy and snuggles. Dallas' mom was found as a stray near a busy freeway and, thankfully, was rescued along with her friend. Soon after, Momma Abilene felt safe enough to deliver a beautiful litter of puppies, including our sweet Dallas!
Born on March 19, 2026, Dallas is currently 6 weeks old and a male. He weighs about 5 pounds and is expected to grow into a medium to large-sized dog, with his momma weighing around 60 pounds. Dallas will be ready for his forever home at 12 weeks old, once he's fully vaccinated and microchipped. He will be adopted out on a neuter contract and will be neutered between 6 months and 1 year of age. Dallas is a friendly pup who gets along with dogs, cats, and children. His foster mom describes him as a bundle of joy who loves belly rubs and playing with his foster siblings. He enjoys romping and playing but also loves to snuggle up on your lap.
Ideal Home
Dallas would thrive in a home with a fully fenced yard or with an active family who can help him burn off his puppy energy. He would love another dog in the home to show him the ropes, but it's not a requirement.
Ongoing Health
Dallas is still a young pup and will be fully vaccinated and microchipped before adoption. He will be neutered between 6 months and 1 year of age under a neuter contract.
Training & Support
Dallas is not quite potty trained yet, and his new family should be prepared to continue working with him. He is learning quickly and making great progress! He is also working on crate training and is currently doing well in a gated room. We strongly encourage all our puppies under one year old to attend puppy obedience classes with their new families.

Dallas is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible for transport to an adopter as soon as one is arranged.
